Key Concepts

Services

Services expose a set of Pods as a network service with a stable IP.

Types of Services

  • ClusterIP: Internal cluster access
  • NodePort: Exposes on a port of each node
  • LoadBalancer: Exposes via a cloud load balancer
  • ExternalName: Alias to an external service
