This module teaches you how to expose your applications in Kubernetes. You will discover Services, the different types of Services, service discovery, and Kubernetes networking.

Services​

Services expose a set of Pods as a network service with a stable IP.

Types of Services​

  • ClusterIP: Internal cluster access
  • NodePort: Exposes on a port of each node
  • LoadBalancer: Exposes via a cloud load balancer
  • ExternalName: Alias to an external service
